I was about to close my browser when I caught a glimpse of the Australian Yahoo News: Devoted maid inherits millions from a boss.

A devoted Filipina maid has inherited six million Singapore dollars ($A4.53 million) from her late employer after more than 20 years of service, a report says.

"I am the luckiest maid in Singapore, with or without the money," the 47-year-old single woman -- identified only by the pseudonym "Christine" -- told the Straits Times in an interview on Wednesday.

The windfall, including cash and a luxury apartment near the Orchard Road shopping belt, came from the estate of her employer Quek Kai Miew, a medical doctor and philanthropist who died last year at 66. She was very close with her employer. How lucky for an employer to have a maid like her. Also, she was lucky and blessed. Serving 20 years as a maid is no joke. Good luck and God bless to her.

I was stunned reading this because it’s really horrible! I’ve read this from Yahoo! News yesterday morning.

Bruno Souza was a star goalkeeper and a captain defending club champion Flamengo. He was an idol for a nation who loved football. He was also a married guy. And, he had a previous affair with a woman named Eliza Samudio who had four-month-old baby.

 Eliza Samudio was a student, model and a pornographic film actress in her country. She sought to establish that Bruno is the father of her child. She disappeared and Bruno was the suspect.

He surrendered himself to the police after his 17-year old cousin spill the beans. Her cousin admits that he was helping her abduction. She was tortured and killed. Also, a former police officer, Marcos Aparecido dos Santos had helped him. Samudio’s remains were fed to the Rottweiler dogs by Santos.

Samudio’s baby was found with Bruno’s wife, Dayana Rodrigues. She was detained

Bruno said, “He had a clear conscience”.

My opinion is it’s a barbaric and horrible solution to a problem, he was facing. You have no right to take another person’s life. With just a click of your fingers, every things is gone.

Yes, a mother was so excited to find her kids after 15 long years. I bet she’s jumping up and down! She found them through Facebook. According to the report, their Dad took off with the two kids ages 3 and 2 years old in 1995.

Their Dad remarried and had a son. Then, he told his daughters that their step-mom is their own mother. Now their Dad was behind bars.

I think even if the mother was very excited, she’ll be facing trouble with her kids. Psychologically and emotionally, her kid’s feelings have changed towards her. And after knowing their Dad is behind bars, I don’t think they will pass it by. Guess, these kids were confused of the situation.

I can only imagination the mother’s excitement and the children’s confused emotions. Her kids are now 17 and 16 years old.
