SEA MARJ Training Center! Comments Needed

buildings
Have you heard about Sea Marj? Do you have any experience with the said Training Center? Then we need your comments! Below are some facts, my friend Liz encountered with the said training center.

As quoted from Liz:
“Let's get it straight to the point. Though SEA-MARJ may not be bogus in posting their jobs on JobStreet, this company seems to have hidden agendas that you may only discover during the interview.”
Based on their Jobstreet Advertisement:
SEAMARJ CENTER FOR HOTEL AND RESTAURANT THAT OFFER FREE ASSISTANCE EMPLOYMENT IN LOCAL AND LANDBASED HOTEL AND ALSO RESTAURANTS AT THE SAME TIME IN PASSENGER SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL AND DOMESTIC

It is not FREE! You have to pay Php 3,800.00 for a 5-day training.

If you want to read more, have an experience with the said training center, please comment here. Click SEA-MARJ – Think Twice Before You Apply

UPDATE:
All active job posting of Sea-Marj has been updated. There will be a training fee if the job seeker has the interest to apply.

  19. numbhi guys. I was heard all of your negative comments regarding sea marj, ang i'm one of those trainee last july 4-8, 2011, nun initial interview, ang ganda ng mga nsabi samin na eemploy daw nila kame sa 5 star hotel, at ang alam namin during this time sa hotel kami ssked for intervew, but nun binigay nila un endorsement sa agency lang palah, ala clang bngay na direct mismo sa hotel, kaya parang naicp namin na, nag walk in lang kame halus, ang pinagkaiba lang un letter na binigay nila, hay!!!! nagsisisi talagah ko guys, kaya wag kayong papaloko sakanila. ..

  21. sea-marj is so annoying, ang daming nadadamay na training center na sincere sa pag assist sa mga applicants. just imagine what they've done dun sa isang school, pinerahan lang, training kuno, tapos iniwanan na sa ereyung mga students, buti na lang meron tumulong sa'min na isaring agency. we have finished our ojt on time.

  22. FAKE po sila ung friend ko ng galing nrin dyn for nitial intervew sya at 1st iinterview then HIHINGI CILA NG FEE PARA SA TRAiNING THEN HIHINGI PA SILA NG FEE PARA SA I.D. tapos hanggang matapos ang training ung work na sinabi wala parin hanggang ngyon

wag po kyong maniwala please TRAINING CENTER lng po cla NOT a RECRUITMENT AGENCY

  25. eto lng masasabi ko.. kng HRM grad ka.. at nid mo employment.. sariling sikap ka.. if gsto mo mg review and refresh ung mga bagay bagay n tinuro.. hanap ka ng much better na training center.. meron kc jan mas mura and mas mahaba ung training course period.. di tulad sa SEAMARJ 1 week. bakit ko cnasabi to?
1.your paying for "endorsement" and not the training, dahil as in NOT ENOUGH.. hilaw n hilaw ang teaching method, kulang s oras at araw.
    2. if ENDORSEMENT habol mo.. eto masasabi q.. ung 3.8k n ibabayad mo, gawen mo n lng pamasahe sa paghahanap, or pang renta ng PC sa internet cafe to find a job.
--sasabhin nila if walk-in applicant ka at di ka endorsed ng SEAMARJ di ka tatangapin? as u notice sasabhin nila un sa 1st day o habang binobola bola k ng bolang babae jan.. eto masasabi q jan.. ur WRONG! u can still apply for that, naalala q p nga nung ng apply aq.. "cnu un?" anu ung seamarj? den one thing.. apply ulit kami.. good morning po, applicant po endorse from SEAMARJ,, ge iwan nyu n lng resume nyu jan ttawagan n lng kyu..

"oo sayang nga ung 3.8k for nothing, sana gnwa q n lng pamasahe sa araw araw..

BASTA KYU N UMUNAWA.. DI Q CNASABI NA SCAMMER CILA, NA MODUS CILA.. ANG AKIN LNG.. USELESS PO ANG TARINING NA TO DAHIL KNG GSTO NYU P DIN MG TRAINING MADAMI AGENCY OFFER TRAINING N MAS CHEAPER AT MAS MAHABA ANG DURATION NG CLASSES..
    example:
UNLI SOL agency, 2 weeks,, 1 week discussion 1 week sa hotel for training for about 2.2k i think
Excellent Choice, 10days tarining more on HANDS-ON cla.. i think 3k cla... much cheaper pa...

KAYU BAHALA.. NASA INYU P DIN DESISYON! EFFORT LNG AT TAMANG DISKARTE PARA SA PAG ASENSO..

    TRAINING CENTER=BUSINESS is BUSINESS

  26. ganon po talaga training cla eh,,just like pagcor ng nagtraining ako sa kanila 30k for 1month ang binayad ko sa kanila.. para kcng magsaysay ang seamarj u nid to pay for the training.. baka po ndi niyo lang naintindihan ang explanation nila or na-reject kau sa interview kaya bad comments nilalagay niyo.. jobstreet is legit cguro naman kung scam ang seamarj ndi na nila pahintulutan sa jobstreet yan db.. kc my screening cla don palang malalaman mo if pasado ka or ndi.. try niyo po muna b4 mag-judge. :)

  27. guys.. if you want legal trainings... better try niyo nalang sa MAGSAYSAY TRAINING CENTER. :) mahal man pero 100% sure yun may papatunguhan ang pera niyo.. :) Godbless..

    ReplyDelete
  28. guys, thats right SEA-MARJ its a private training center that's why they asking for a training fee.. Please think twice before your post your bad comments... As far as i know kasi hindi ito tama.. God bless!!!

    ReplyDelete
  29. Thank you so much for the latest "Anonymous": As you can see, I don't give replies. But when I read your comment, "curious lang sa gumawa ng blog na ito", "personal na galit sa may-ari" and "crab mentality". Come to think of it! :)

Well, I think nabasa mo rin siguro ang short post ko "as quoted from a FRIEND" :). And that happened 2010 pa. A lot of things happened and changed. But then searchers still give comments on this blog, like what you did. :D

  31. HI GUYS.,GOOD EVENING TO ALL...
I ALSO APPLIED AT SEA MARJ, AND I WILL PROVE TO YOU THAT ALL THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS ABOUT THIS AGENCY OR WHAT EVER YOU CALL IT IS NOT TRUE,.I DONT KNOW HOW AM I GOING TO DO IT BUT I JUST KNOW THAT THEY ARE NOT WHAT YOU THINK THEY ARE...

    ReplyDelete
  32. LEGAL po ang SEA-MARJ... pero as others said... hndi cla registered sa POEA... they're just a training center and not an employment agency... most target nila ay fresh grad since they don't have enough knowledge pagdating sa ganyan... sa lahat ng fresh grads... wala pong byad ang training pag natanggap kyo sa work... it's either bibigyan kyo ng allowance or training fee ng company hndi ung kyo ang magbabayad... pero sure nmn na hahanapan nila kyo ng mapapasukan kya lng much better sa ibang agency n lng kyo mag apply...
REMEMBER: SEA-MARJ is not an employment agency...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Sea Marj is making promises that they cannot keep. My daughter was promised a job at Solaire upon completion of her training but when I called Solaire about the job, I was told that they currently do not have any openings for that position and that all the training for that position are done in house and not by Sea Marj and that Sea Marj is not affiliated with Solaire. Stay away from this company. They are just after your money.

  37. Hi thank God that i read this before i go to sea-marj actually I and my friend were about to send our resumes like as a walk in ,,to make the story short i was about to print my resume and not knowing that my resume was not saved in my USB then searched again for the address of sea marj then saw this blog ,,,, sobrang thank you talaga :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. this is a bogus company. my friends underwent the training na sapilitan na pinagbayad pa sila ng 3,800. nangako na magkakaroon ng work after a week ng training. mag name drop pa ng mga establishments na sikat just like dubai, malaysia, singapore, taposmay barko pa na sinasabi at yacht. pero wala naman talaga. they are after the money na makukuha after the training "kuno". tapos yung nagtuturo sa training eh mashonda na!!! my god dapat retired na yung si lolo. ano makukuha ng bata sayo. incomplete facilities pa. sa magsaysay na lang dapat. credible pa. dapat itulfo ang mga ganitong manloloko na company...

    ReplyDelete
  39. Nag apply ako dito sometime 2010. Pag fresh grad tlga mdali ka nilang maloloko. Actually ang sabi nila sakin before, pagtapos ng interview sabi nila qualified daw ako and pwede ako sa ibang position that has a min height of 5ft. pwd sa front desk etc. then sinabi nila na kelangan ng training kasi daw sa mga company my training so pwede ko dw umpisahan ung training sa kanila and then ngbyad ako ng Php3500 - Php4000 ata un... at the end of 5 days training bibigyan ka nila ng xeroxed copy of company list and hr contact and bahala ka sa buhay mong magapply... sobrang galit ko nun sabi ko sa mga kasama ko gusto nga nila ipa imbestigador tong bogus na agency na to.... my karma rin yan sa kanila kundi man sa kanila sa pamilya nila at susunod na henerasyon ng lahi nila... god bless us all and specially them...

  40. "Comment moderation has been enabled. All comments must be approved by the blog author."

so no wonder po na filtered ang mga posts and comments sa blog na ito., so CLEAR na ang OBJECTIVE: to put down one company sa sobrang galit dhil lng sa di pumasa sa hotel standards and qualifications nila? at nakakatawa kce ang daming nakikisawsaw na di naman tlga ngreport sa seamarj at ung iba rejected applicant kya nanggagalaiti.. more or less magkanu kaya kinikita ng blogger just to earn credits..,concern ba tlga sa applicants kya nabuo ang blog na ito or pra sa sariling satisfaction? sna as blogger, fair enough ang posted comments diba? pano naman ang mga successful applicants like us? check their links:http://sea-marj.blogspot.com/, http://www.blogger.com/profile/03079045749479385668 ,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V67-4xr1QJM anu po ba tlga motive ng blogger?

kaya nga i doubt if this comment will be posted since the real motive naman tlga is to put down the business, the company.,otherwise anu nga ba reason? naku if ako sa seamarj, tutal may cyber crime law na, napakadali na pabor sa knila.,pero since busy cla to help aspiring qualified hoteliers, wala cla time. sna lng maging masaya ang bumasa nito ngaun.

  44. may certificate b silang binibigay? for completion?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I am planning to apply/enroll din sna.I met somenew friends who had their trainings na sa seamarj and globalcruiseship. I dont think its illegal, ofcourse its business that is how it works.you have to pay in order for them to teach u its a private trainng ctr not govt owned nor a charitable institution so u have to understand that.its not like tesda which offers free trainings.if u dont want to pay to learn then might as well enroll sa tesda.i did some inquiry ndin jan better tlga kc wla nga bayad but the training period is longer (1-2mos approx.) and that is per course.maybe some chooses to enroll/apply s mga training ctrs n ito even with fees kasi somehow it offers diff trainings in a short span of time yEt it gives them the basic knowledge in all of those na.let us not discourage others.i presume they r not under poea coz di nmn cla recruitment agency.bear in mind training ctr po sila.in every applications its still up to you kung ppsa ka or not sa company/employer.kahit ano pa yan endorsement or referrals na meron ka if the interviewer was not impressed, wala din dba.so in the end its still up to up to u.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Yes i believe they give certificate and endorsement letters after the 5daystraining.IM not sure how it works pa kc nagpplan p nga lang ako that is why ngrresearch muna ako.but with people saying na illegal etc.it really doesnt help.just coz may payment ba illegal na?we have to be open minded.they basically offer trainings not an assurance na once they gve u the cert eh tanggap k n agad pag pnta mo sa inaapplyn mo.its just a proof na u had ur training meaning u have atleast the knowledge with the job that u want to apply to.well personally i hope na mas mababa sna yung fee so that every one can afford it and mas mdmi sna accredited na schools ang tesda to conduct the free trainings para ndi n kailngn pa gumastos dba.

    ReplyDelete
  47. yes i agree to that! they are the ones who answers blogs against them kunwari successful applicants nila pero kidaw,.. si Liah Paras lang ngtype ng mga comments or more or less staff nila na manipulated nila para kuno magbigay ng positive comments just to regain trust from people..pero sorry to say.,it was proven that this company SUCKS!

    ReplyDelete

How can you make your applicants believe that you can really provide them the dream job they are aspiring for?

This is a mere example of mga MEME... ahahaha...

    ME-maisulat lang
    ME-masabi lang!

  53. I think SEAMARJ is an illegal recruitment/ training center. she discussed me about their company. And then the interviewer said na REGISTERED daw sa POEA.

Hindi ako graduate ng HRM pero they texted me 4times to have an interview.

yung interview was informal, she didn't asked my personal information, direct to the point siya for training and asked for how much I can give to them.

naPANSIN ko during interview she asked me to lock the door, para daw walang makakita.

Thanks god at wala akong dalang amount na enough to pay. she said 500, sabi ko wala po akong dala, sabi nya 200 nalang daw, at sabi ko wala po, then sabi nya reserve nalang daw 100php.

kawawa yung isang lalake na galing pa from US then he applied in SEAMARJ, 2000 pesos binigay nya, and the other girl paid 1000 pesos, then she tell the girl na "Sorry ahh, naubusan kasi kami ng receipt" dun nag doubt na ako.

Fresh grad kasi kami. Gusto namin maka siguro kung legal ba yon?
And pano malalaman kung legal ang isang private company?
Thanks sa sasagot. Need lang talaga baka maloko eh.

  55. Hi, don't ever try or attempt to go to Intercruises. They are all after your money! Trust me! And the girl there is so rude! As in! Like pag for example hindi ka makapag pay ng 100 or 200 sasabihan ka na na ano na daw gagawin sa resume mo, or sasabihin sayo na try mo maghanap sa metro manila buong araw kaka walk in mo tingnan lang natin kung may mahanap kang work, tapos pag sinabi mo na hindi ka muna magbabayad balik ka nalang sasabihan ka ba naman ng hindi ka marunong mag decide para sa sarili mo! How rude that girl is! And she call herself HR!!!! She is so unprofessional! I have nothing against with company but this is just based solely on my experience and with the rest of the applicants. I swear! I salute this fresh grad kasi hindi nagpauto! If I were you, mag direct hire nalang kayo :) Go to Jobstreet then mag pass nalang kayo dun or walk in sa mga hotels here sa manila atleast dun sure kayo na hindi kayo peperahan :) Everything will fall into place. Huwag kayo masilaw sa mga sinasabi nila, do a background research sa company :) Hope this helps guys! :)
