How Stress Impacts Your Body's Alignment and Balance

Stress can affect not only your mental health but also your physical well-being. IT includes your body’s alignment and balance. When stress level arises, the body reacts by tensing muscles. Particularly in the shoulders, neck, and back. This tension cause a misalignments in the spine and disrupt the natural balance of your body.

Prolonged stress leads to an overactive "fight or flight" response. Causing muscles to stay in a constant state of tension. This may result in imbalances where some muscles become tight and others weaken. For example, the muscles in your upper back and neck may tighten due to stress. Pulling your head forward and affecting your posture. Misalignment in the spine can lead to chronic pain, poor posture, and limited mobility.
