As a couple who have no baby for years is quite a struggle and a pressure. And then, when you have it, voila! Everyone is so excited. This is what happened to Thomas Rhett and wife Lauren.

On February 18, a Saturday both the couple shared on Instagram their happiness and excitement, with some photos and videos from their gender reveal party. 

Thomas wife, Lauren Akins, shared a picture of a gorgeous tall cake. "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" decorations. Her caption says, "How we wonder what you are...' guess what we're doing tonight :)". The cake is adorned with colors pink and blue. It has an edible metallic star decoration covering it. It was magnificent!

After a few minutes, Thomas posted a video on his page, showing him cutting into the beautiful cake. "It's pink!" he shouts. "Havin' a girl!"

Then, Lauren also shared a video of the occasion saying, "Sorry our family is nuts but WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL!" So cute!

The couple, Lauren and Thomas Akins has known each other since first grade. They announced last week that they are not only having a baby but adopting a child from Africa as well. Both of them have been updating their social media regularly and keeping their fans in the news on her pregnancy and the adoption process. Thomas Rhett, 26, seems to be thrilled to start their journey. Even if he has mentioned on social media that he knows that things are about to get crazy! Well, yes, it is!
