Into My Own

Guess, my mind is chaotic! I think a lot but can't write a blog. My mind is affected with personal matters in my heart. So, I decided to search for short poems and explain every stanza's on my own.

Into My Own
(Robert Frost)

One of my wishes is that those dark trees,
So old and firm they scarcely show breeze,
We're not, as "twere, the merest mask of gloom,
But stretched away unto the edge of doom.

"One of my wishes is to push out that old grudges
and spread its' wings of forgiveness"

I should not be withheld but that some day
into their vastness I should steal away,
Fearless of every finding open land,
or highway where the slow wheel pours the sand.

"I will not stay, I will go unafraid into a foreign land
where there will be great opportunities...

I do not see why I should e'er turn back,
Or those should not set forth upon  my track
To overtake me, who should miss me here
And long to know if I held them dear.

"I don't understand. When will I return home? Who will
miss me? Will they miss me? Are they interested
to know their importance?"

They would not find me changed from him the knew¬
Only more sure of all I thought was true.

The sound of sadness in leaving home and preparing to stay on his own.
